About me

Hello, I am Francois.

I am a South African born, Germany based 2D animation freelancer and animation director. I have been in the animation industry for 15 years. 

 

My areas of expertise are cel- and character animation, but I also have experience in vector motion graphics, storyboarding and animatics. I primarily use Toon Boom Harmony, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. 

 

While I work independently, I am proud to call myself a team player and have been described as conscientious, reliable and professional. 

 

When I am not immersed in the lives of animation characters, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and two sons.
